Adriatic Controlling Conference: Where Strategy Meets Practice
The Adriatic Controlling Conference stands as Slovenia’s flagship event for the controlling profession. It serves as a vital hub for managers, finance leaders, IT experts, and accountants who view professional development as a strategic advantage. This isn’t just a theoretical seminar; it is a practitioner-led forum designed to deliver actionable insights.
Our Legacy & Evolution
Since 1999, the School of Controlling has been the driving force behind this event. Originally launched as the Controllers’ Meeting, it quickly outgrew its domestic roots to become a key regional gathering for the Adriatic area.
In 2010, reflecting its growing international influence and the diverse profile of its attendees—from C-suite executives to academics—the event was rebranded as the Adriatic Controlling Conference. Our excellence is further validated by our long-standing partnership with the International Association of Controllers (ICV).
Why It Matters
In an era of constant market volatility, a company’s resilience depends on the competence of its key talent. We believe that:
Knowledge is the primary driver of progress.
Competent employees are indispensable assets, regardless of the economic cycle.
Modern controlling is the ultimate navigation tool for business success.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to bridging the gap between European best practices and local business needs. Each year, the conference focuses on:
Emerging Trends: Identifying what’s next in the world of finance and management.
Knowledge Transfer: Bringing world-class European methodologies to the Adriatic region.
Strategic Networking: Building a community of professionals who use controlling to drive results.
